Caroline snarled at Kol's words and as her grip tightened she looked around the room at his family, daring one of them to come forward and stop her. There was something about Kol's behaviour that seemed recognisable and not in a good way. Perhaps she means or had meant something to him that made Kol think that he could speak to her the way he had. In his brotherly role stopped her scolding her actions in the process. She stumbled slightly before composing herself adjusting her summer dress.
One minute Caroline had been stood in the Mikaelsons study and the next her body was flushed against Nik's as they together left the mansion the home a blur as she held tightly onto him.
